Funeral Pricing Estimator

This service includes but is not limited to, the availability and work done by our funeral director(s) and staff on behalf of the purchaser. This would include the coordination and directing the services of our staff and agents with those of the hospital, nursing home, or cemetery in transferring the deceased from the place of death and making the necessary arrangements for final disposition. It also includes the invoices, booking staff and vehicles and other support functions.

The initial transfer of the deceased to our facility: This is a 24-hour service and include one staff member, a transfer vehicle and specialized equipment and supplies.

All secretarial and administrative duties including preparation of necessary documents including registering the death with the Province of Saskatchewan.

Providing interim shelter of the deceased.

A service held at the graveside of the burial location for family and friends. Flowers and other services can be arranged. This is not charged if a Funeral Service is held. The fee is for a Graveside Service only.

A 1 hour visitation followed by a full service and ceremony. Families also have the option of a graveside service after the ceremony as well as a reception if necessary. For burials, a procession to the cemetery plot would take place with the option of a brief graveside service to follow. Our staff will arrange for everything needed so your family can concentrate on being together. Please note that additional visitation time over 1 hour can be provided.

Newly constructed LifeStory Room comfortably seats 200 persons with Overflow into our Reception Centre if necessary. Project for DVD or Powerpoint Photo Tributes available along with state of the art sound system. Reception Centre attached for a Coffee, Tea or full reception if desired. Cost of room is $400 for a 3 hour rental.

The Hall comfortably holds 300 people and is also a perfect choice for smaller funeral gatherings and memorial services. Chairs can be setup in rows for a service or organized more casually for visitations and gatherings. Families are welcome to bring their own food and music, or upon request, the staff will supply coffee for family and friends. The cost of this hall is $450 for a 3 hour rental.

Smaller chapel inside the Circle Drive Alliance Church. It comfortably holds 250 people, but will not feel overwhelming for smaller gatherings. Luncheon can be handled within the same facility. Families are welcome to bring their own food and music, or Cherished Memories Caterer can look after the reception on the families’ behalf. Cost of the Chapel is $695 for a 3 hour rental.

Beautiful newly constructed hall. Can accommodate 300 people but is also a good choice for smaller funeral gatherings and memorial services. Reception can take place at the same facility with state of the art kitchen facilities. The cost of the hall is $650 for a 5 hour rental.

Bathing, dressing and application of cosmetics if required without any chemical embalming.

The disinfection, restoration and temporary preservation of the deceased including bathing, dressing, and cosmetics if required.Cherished Memories' policy requires embalming if visitation is open to the public.

The lead vehicle of a funeral procession that navigates the accompanying cars in a safe and unified manner. The clergy, if chosen, would ride in this car as well.

The use of a hearse to transfer the casket during the funeral service.

Includes a register book, 100 full-color memorial cards and 50 thank you cards. Additional memorial cards and thank you cards can be purchased for $1 per card with a minimum 50 card order.

Flower allowance up to $150.

Newspaper notice allowance up to $250.

Depending on where the death occurs, we may be required to send a second staff member to the place of death for the transfer. This is done in the case of a nursing home death or a death at home. There will also be situations beyond our control where a second staff member is required.

For each family, an associate will review over 90 items, and choose only those which are necessary and relevant to your situation. Once the required information is received, all of the appropriate organizations will be contacted.

The Regulatory Fee is collected by each funeral home and crematorium in Saskatchewan and forwarded to the office in Regina. The Council administers and sets standards of practice and procedures for funeral homes and crematoria. This fee assists in funding the operations of the FCSCS.
