It is with deepest sadness that the family of Erin Lyn Brown announce her passing after a lengthy battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Erin was born on December 19, 1974 in Saskatoon. During her school years, Erin was very athletic; a Goldfin swimmer, played fastball & basketball, enjoyed skiing; took organ & dance lessons; loved travel and family time spent at the cabin at Besnard Lake. Erin attended the U of S College of Education majoring in Home Economics. She was struck with MS when she was 20 yrs old, was unable to complete her Education Degree, and became a resident of Sherbrooke Community Centre in 1998. Sherbrooke provided great years for Erin, and the staff & residents became Erin’s “extended family”. Erin was always smiling and her Dad would say,”Hi Jake”. Her reply was “Hello Father”, and Erin spread sunshine all through Sherbrooke. Thank you to all our friends at Sherbrooke. It has been a wonderful journey and you have been a major part of that! Erin is predeceased by her mother, Marilyn Brown. She is survived by; Peg & Wilfred, Sandra (Allan) Jackson; Mel & Betty, Daryl (Annie), Sandra (Terry) Ferster; Sharon & Terry, Bryne (Stan), Kylie (Pam) Kvinlaug; Auntie Ruth Vodden; Donna, Penny, Shellina (Brad), Bradley (Suhani) Krahn and her father, Ross. The celebration of life will be held at Sherbrooke Community Centre in the Tawaw Centre on April 18, 2017 @ 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sherbrooke Community Centre, 401 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon SK S7H 2E7 “Jake, I will miss you terribly”… Father.
