Alta Joyce Kraushar, 86 years of Langham Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully August 6, 2017. Born to the late Johann and Katherina [Andres] Martens in Waldheim Saskatchewan January 30, 1931. They lived on a farm outside of Waldheim where she travelled to school by horse and buggy until grade 6 when the family moved to Saskatoon where she finished her schooling. She then met Frederich Kraushar of Saskatoon and they were married September 2,1950. She is survived by her loving husband Fred; 6 children, Randy (Wendy), Karen Meszaros, Colleen, Janine (Terry) Wulff, Debby, and Regan (Thelma); 17 grandchildren and 46 great grandchildren; two sisters; Elvira Schindel and Lavinia Boor; sister-in-law’s, Doreen Kraushar, Carol Martens, Irene Kraushar and Florence Martens, as well as many nieces and nephews. Alta was predeceased by her son-in-law; Thomas Meszaros; brother’s, Arthur and Norman; sisters, Alice Leier and Delphine; brother-in-law’s, Kenneth Kraushar, George Kraushar, William Schindel and Ken Boor; sister-in-law, Mildred Martens; mother and father-in-law, Frederich Senior and Barbara Kraushar. At the request of Alta there will be no funeral service held. Special thanks to all staff of Langham Senior Citizens Home.
