Jarl James Slind, 50, of Saskatoon, SK passed away in his sleep on Friday, September 1st, 2017 in Saskatoon of a heart attack due to complications from Diabetes. Jarl was born on August 2nd, 1967 in Terrace, BC. He had great passion! He loved music and fishing. He had a very unique view of the world. He was extremely kind, caring, and would help anybody at any time. As a teenager, he travelled extensively in the summer with his grandparents, John & Helen Doell, moving furniture across the country. He was a very hard worker; most of his career was spent in the drilling industry starting as a helper and progressing up to senior driller. Jarl was predeceased by his wife of 18 years, Corrine Slind, his uncles Lyle Lang and Terry Lang, as well as his grandparents. He is survived by his mother Marcia Slind, father Larry Slind, father Barry English, sister Cynthia English (Randy McDonald), niece Andrea Evans (Nick Longpre), great-nephew Marshall Longpre, brother Joel English, nephew Ethan English, brother Kevin Slind, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. brother Joel English, nephew Ethan English, brother Kevin Slind, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace.
