Christine Teresa Tarrington (née Harris) February 9, 1967 – October 25, 2017 It is with great sadness that Christine's family announces her passing away peacefully at the R.U.H. with her Family at her bedside. Christine battled for many years with Crohn's Disease, but sadly succumbed after bravely fighting for 3 years in the hospital, with many ups and downs. Christine was born in Brighton, England to John and Kathy Harris. She was married to Robbie Tarrington on July 25, 1987 and they raised their son Travis and daughter April. Christine was an educator as a Teacher's Aide and loved to care for children and help them learn. Christine also had a Daycare Centre where she continued helping the young. In her younger days, Christine enjoyed speed swimming and was a member of the Saskatoon Y-Knots. Playing cards with family and friends was always a highlight of Christine's, she always seemed to win. Christine is survived by her husband Robbie; children Travis, April (Blair) Regnier (Jamie, Teagan, Teanna, Temeya and Easton); her parents John and Kathy Harris; sisters Carol Thurmeier (Britney, Austin, Sophie), Wendy (Brent) Mock (Alexis, Kayla, Emery); as well as many other relatives and friends. Christine had many happy fun times with her grandchildren who she loved dearly. The Family wishes to thank the nurses and caregivers for keeping Christine comfortable at R.U.H. A Celebration of Life for Christine will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 5, 2017 in the Mayfair United Church, 902-33rd Street West, Saskatoon. Memorial Donations in honor of Christine may be directed to the Crohn's & Colitis Canada, 600- 60 St. Clair Avenue East, Toronto, ON M4T 1N5.
