Joyce (Terry) Mary England Passed away December 12, 2017 at the Veterans Home at Sherbrooke Village in Saskatoon. Terry was born to John and Patsy Cotterell in Stainforth, England, and was the oldest of 5 siblings from their marriage. She grew up in Cardiff, South Wales, and as a young adult enlisted in the British Forces, where she served packing parachutes for the Air Force. It was there that she met the love of her life, a young Canadian gunner, Mark England. They were married in England, and Terry came back to Canada as a war bride. Together, they built a life in Saskatoon and raised three sons. Through the years, Terry developed a love for Emma and Christopher Lake, enjoying many family times there. She enjoyed crafts, baking, and loved to sing and to be around people. Terry was passionate about the Canadian War Brides Association and was very involved for many years, including serving as President for a time. She was very proud of her British heritage and never lost her love of fish and chips. Terry was predeceased by her husband, Mark; her son, David; and her parents and siblings. She is survived by her sons John England (Margaret) and Herb England (Wendy); daughter-in-law Linda England; grandsons Dusty, Jaimie (Jessica), Kent (Angela), Kurt (Krista), and Kevin (Kristin); as well as ten great-grandchildren. We will miss her smile, British accent, butter tarts, and wonderful enthusiasm for carolling at Christmas. We are comforted knowing she will be reunited with her husband, son, parents and siblings. Interment for Terry and Mark will take place at a later date at Military Field of Honour at Woodlawn Cemetery.
