Bob Seaborn unexpectedly passed away peacefully with his family that he loved by his side on Dec 20, 2017. Bob had a lifelong passion for all things electronic which led to his career as a Broadcast Engineer, and later 2-way radio repair, and avionics technician; he was a pioneer in satellite and computer systems. Bob was also a pilot and enjoyed flying, as well as SCUBA Diving, old British cars, and later in life amateur radio. The thing he enjoyed the most was helping and educating those around him, as he had a way of drawing people in to his hobbies. Dr Bob will be greatly missed by his children, Jennifer (Shamus Page), Robin, and Crystal, to whom he all left a legacy of creativity, ingenuity, and his sarcastic nature in their daily lives. We will be celebrating Bob’s life on Jan 16, 2018 at 6PM at the Saskatoon German Cultural Centre and the family invites anyone who would like to tell stories about Dr Bob to attend. Donations in his memory can be made to the Radio Amateurs of Canada Youth Education Program or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
