(ie: Warman Wildcats) Austyn spent his early childhood years in Saskatoon. He played for the Saskatoon Redwings and attended Cardinal Leger School. He often told stories of his younger childhood memories, his friends, teachers and most special neighbours. In grade 6, Austyn started a new adventure, moving to Warman, SK. He wasn't happy to be leaving Saskatoon, but soon fell in love with the community of Warman. Austyn played the rest of his hockey years with the Warman Wildcats and graduated from Warman High School in 2015. Austyn started working at Jerry's on 51st at the age of 15 and enjoyed the 2 years he spent there. He worked at the Co-op in Warman, as well as a cook at Boston Pizza in Martensville. At the time of his passing, he worked for his family company, Carmont Construction. He was in the process of figuring out what he wanted to do and had plans to apply at the U of S. He talked about being a sports reporter or a physio therapist. Austyn loved anything to do with sports. You could ask him any question and he'd usually know the answer. He loved spending his time playing hockey, football, and golfing. Austyn had a kind, generous, big heart. He was often Captain or Assistant Captain on his teams.
