Darlene Paulette Figurski, 73, our ray of sunshine, passed peacefully onto her next adventure with the angels on March 4, 2023. Darlene was a true social butterfly, who loved hosting and organizing any type of event, with a natural ability to make everyone feel welcome. Her laugh was contagious, and she always lived her life to the fullest. Darlene was the rock of her family, with a understated strength, unconditional love, and even some firm straight-talk when she felt we needed it. She will always be missed and loved beyond measure.
As per Darlene’s request, and as a reflection of how she lived, we will have a celebration of her life on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at St. Paul’s United Church Hall at 454 Egbert Ave, Saskatoon, SK. Please join us from 1 – 4pm to celebrate our loving mother, Baba, sister, auntie, and friend.
Dear Jamie,Tania,Andrea and Kris. Your Mom was the most beautiful woman. I am so very proud to have had her in my life. My heart breaks for all of you. She loved her family beyond words. She will be with you always. Maybe in a breath of wind,a butterfly landing just to let you know she’s checking in. Love and hugs 💔💔💔💔
My deepest sympathy Tania, to you and your family! Your mama was a beautiful soul inside and out. Know she is at peace, and in no more pain. I know I few angels who are dancing with your mama!
Jamie, Tanya, Andra & Kris, we are so sorry we did not attend Darlene’s service. We didn’t hear about her passing until Mar. 11th. Your Mom & I had many good memories from working together, car pooling, going North Star hockey games, and she threw the best Survivor party. Your parents were great neighbors the short time we were both living on the farm at the same time. You guys are always welcome to visit the home farm of Dane & Jen and boys
Kris,
I am so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing . She was a special gal and will be missed by all. My condolences to you and all the members of her family.
