Edna Barbara Priscilla Weisbrod Moore passed away peacefully on June 2,2021.
Edna was born to William and Priscilla Weisbrod December 30,1931. In Markinch, Sk, Edna was the oldest of 5 children and her dad worked on the railroads so they lived in bunkhouses and moved often.
Edna was married twice and had 7 children from her first marriage to Kenneth Ridley was then divorced and later met Kenneth Moore the love of her life they met in Macklin Sk. They Fell in love where she knew he was her soulmate and they were together till the end when Ken passed away in 2010. They were married in 1974 and had 2 children. They continued their life together managing hotels in Mont Nebo, and Macdowall sk. They later moved to Saskatoon where Edna was a waitress in the Barry hotel after 14 years she retired moving to Mont Nebo. She loved to sew and play cards, loved spending time with family and enjoyed random road trips. She had the biggest heart and a huge sense of humour, for such a little lady she had a big and feisty personality.
Edna was predeceased by her parents William Weisbrod and Priscilla Williams Weisbrod, 2 siblings Emma Straughn and William Weisbrod. Edna’s 2 children Kenneth William Ridley and Elizabeth Louise Ridley Chodzicki.
Edna will be missed by her 7 children Elsie Anseeuw, Vivian (Harold) Thompson, David (Hazel) Ridley, Melvin (Rose) Ridley, Roger Ridley, David (Shelley) Moore, Barbara (Norm) Steel
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens on Monday, June 7th at 2:00pm
Donations can be sent to Alzheimer’s Society.
