1934-2023
The family is saddened to announce the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Edna immigrated to Canada with her husband Wayne in 1958, venturing into a new country with no knowledge of customs cultures or language, they persevered with nothing but hard work and determination, always by her husband’s side, they built a successful business that prospered through many years.
In the quaint little city of Humboldt, Saskatchewan, Edna and Wayne captured the admiration and respect of the entire community. Despite their hard work, they always had time for friends and family. Generous to a fault, Edna always made sure that everyone was cared for, she treated her staff like family and they always joined her for every meal. We will miss her loud and boisterous nature, you always knew that mom was around.
Edna leaves behind her children, Susan (Kelly), Terry (Patti), Ken (Jenny); grandchildren Doug, Tom (Kelsey), Steven (Kirsten) Amanda (Viktor), Aaron (Angel), Matt, Will, Sam (Meagan), Tony (Melissa), Bryce (Aminah), Carter (Taylor); great-grandchildren Cam’Ron, Lyla, Anthony, Trey, Iliana, Olivia, Etta, Izzy, Kate, Ellie, Dawson & Henry. She was predeceased by her husband, Wayne, and her daughter-in-law, Jenny.
A Celebration of Edna’s Life will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in Cherished Memories Chapel, 591 Centennial Drive North, Martensville. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Saskatoon. For anyone unable to attend a livestream link has been set up at https://funeraweb.tv/en/diffusions/79245

Wayne Seto and family were great friends to us – as fellow business friends in Humboldt for many years. Unfortunately we lost touch in our later years. They were great business friends to my family for many years.
Our sincere condolences to all their family.
