Walter Metro Sisetski was born on December 15, 1948, in Foam Lake Saskatchewan, to Jean and Dick Sisetski.
Wally was most known to family, friends and even strangers, for his artistic talents, he opened his sign company Signett Signs, in 1970. It was never hard to spot him out and about in Saskatoon with his bright red truck, creating window splash’s for businesses of all types. Celebrating 50 years in Business – Signett Signs . Wally and his partner of more than 25 years, Elsie, enjoyed travelling, spending time down south in the winters and at carnivals in the summer, where Wally would create hand carved Cedar Signs. Wally was a hard worker, but when he could, he enjoyed golfing, playing guitar, singing at Jam sessions, and visiting with friends and family.
Wally is survived by his children Theresa Sisetski, Mike Sisetski, stepchildren, Andrew Darling (Gaie Bergstrom) and Nicole Darling (Derrick Pobereznek). Grandchildren Michael Kenner, Austin Kenner, Colton Kenner, Logan Corcoran, Ashley Pobereznek, and Mathew Pobereznek. He is also survived by his brother Paul Sisetski and sister Mary Pennault.
Wally was predeceased by his partner Elsie Ireland and parents Dick and Jean Sisetski.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday October 29, 2022, at the RCAF 602 Lynx Wing at 2407 Ave C North at 1:00 PM.
