Angeline "Angie" Bernier

After a long life filled with love and laughter, the family of Angie Bernier announces her peaceful passing on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at St Pauls Hospital at the age of 89 surrounded by her family. Angie is survived by her loving and devoted nephews Bob & John (Joanne) Lafontaine, Niece Marlene Luchian, Niece in law Rose Lafontaine & special friend Louise.  Angie is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and friends. Angie is pre deceased by her husband Marcel Bernier, her parents Alfred and Alexina Lafontaine, her siblings Joseph, Arthur, Louis, George, Marie Louise, Therese, Laura, Simone, Cecile, Marie, and Lillian; nephews Fernand & Gilbert Lafontaine and niece in law Cheryl Lafontaine.  Angie was well known for her baking, cooking, quitting and sewing. Angie had a heart of gold and will be missed by all who knew her. Special thank you to the staff and nurses of the 5th Floor Medicine & Palliative Care Unit at St Pauls Hospital.  We would also like to thank Kevin Martens & Arnie Enns of Cherished Memories Funeral Service for their kindness and compassion. Interment will be held at the Batoche Cemetery at a later date.
