Anne McElroy

Anne was born in Brantford Ont. to Jim and Mary McElroy on August 19th, 1947, and died in Saskatoon on December 21st, 2024. She spent her formative years in Ottawa and then went on to complete a degree in Psychology at Queen’s University, then coming to Saskatoon in 1973 where she had her three children. Here her artistic streak became manifest, and she completed firstly an M.F.A. and later a degree in Educational Psychology and became a counselor in private practice and at the Community Clinic. Her artistic endeavors continued, and she had many exhibitions in Saskatoon as well as various cities in Saskatchewan and Canada. Anne was also a popular art teacher at various locations in the city. Left to recognize and honor her are her brother Ian (Cathy) of Markham; daughter Nadia (Michael) and grandsons Kobe and Kieran of Sault Ste Marie; son Seth of Calgary; daughter Gina of Winnipeg; and husband Dennis and his three children; also special friends Nancy of Ottawa and Lorna (Roger) of Calgary. 

There will not be a service at Anne’s request, we have our own memories to cherish and will deal with our sense of loss each in our own way.
