David Allen Lawrence

It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Allen Lawrence our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. He passed away peacefully with family by his side on March 9, 2025, in Saskatoon, SK.

David will be greatly missed by his wife Sandy Pettigrew, his children Shayne Lawrence, Christopher Lawrence (Vince Lambert), Jamie Lawrence, Amanda MacKenzie (Jordan), and Michael Pettigrew (Angeline) and his grandchildren Amelia and Marissa MacKenzie, Thadius, Azura and Reve Pettigrew. David leaves behind his siblings Dennis Lawrence (Cheryl), Daniel Lawrence, Debbie Lawrence (Brian Oxborrow), Darlene Bourque, 6 nieces and nephews and 9 great nieces and nephews.

David spent his early years in Wynyard, SK choosing to settle in Saskatoon, SK. David enjoyed many years working for the City of Saskatoon where he and Sandy met. He retired in 2014 so he could spend more time with family, travelling and taking photographs of his adventures. He would proudly share stories of his children and grandchildren to anyone who would listen.

We will always remember his sense of humour and his infectious laugh.

We loved you in life and we love you now.

At David’s request there will be no formal funeral. A small family gathering will be held at a later date.
