Deborah Ann Mitchell

It is with great sadness that the family of Deborah Ann Mitchell of Ruddell, Saskatchewan announce her passing following a lengthy battle with cancer.

Debbie passed away peacefully at the Hospice at Glengarda on July 23, 2023. With family by her side. 

Debbie was 63 years old.

She will be lovingly remembered by her partner of 33 years James Cobbs, her 3 boys Brian Jonathon Byers, Patrick Byers, ( Keira Byers ), Brandon Corey Byers, ( Stephanie Byers ), her grandchildren, Freya Byers, Kale Byers, Tayla Byers.

Mother Clara Leona Mitchell, Sisters Nancy Cavalle Olson, ( Alvin Lars Olson ), Mary-Lou Mitchell. Niece’s and nephews.

Debbie was predeceased by her father, John Mitchell.

Debbie was born in Ottawa, Ontario on October 27, 1959. We were lucky that our father was in the Military, which meant we travelled and lived in many different places including Germany. (Debbie’s favourite)

She loved Eagles, Orchids and lucky number 7.

To know Debbie is to know her beautiful, curly black hair. As a young girl she loved figure skating and was Cruella Deville in a performance. To see her fly around the ice with white powder escaping her hair was amazing.
