Donald Gerald Poisson

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Donald Poisson. Don passed away August 1, 2024 at his home in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 73.

Don was born in Cornwall, ON on November 1, 1950. This is where he met his wife Sheila. In 1980 they moved to Saskatoon where they made their home. Don worked for many years as a truck driver first for Kindersley Transport, then at Gordon Food Service where he retired. He enjoyed treating himself to dinner out at restaurants where the staff all knew him well, playing cards, reading books and of course watching television.

He is survived by, Sheila Poisson, his children: Jo-Ann (Sarah), Nichole (Jesse), grandchildren: Tayler, Brodie, Lyam, Peyton and Isabelle, great grandchildren: Carter, Bentley and Onyx, and sisters: Jeannine, Lorraine, Francine, Gisele and Anita. He was predeceased by his parents Isabelle and Gerald Poisson.

There will be a celebration of life with family and friends at 3437 Caen street between the hours of 1-4 on Saturday August 17, 2024 stop in anytime to visit and share stories. He will then be laid to rest with his parents in Cornwall, ON.
