It is with great sadness that the families of Donna May Corbeil (Hagen) announce her peaceful passing in hospital on February 2, 2025, she was 75 years old. Donna’s kind soul and gentle spirit will be missed dearly by all those who know and love her. Donna was the epitome of selflessness as she always put the needs of others before her own. While she was small in stature and quiet in nature, she was grand in her love for family. Donna loved to create, from crafting for hours on end, to baking her famous cheese buns, Roger’s favorite ranger cookies, sticky cinnamon buns and Christmas popcorn balls. Donna’s strong work ethic meant putting her whole heart into everything she did, leaving every task or duty done exceptionally well. Donna had a passion for getting lost in a good book of which she had many. Donna had a great sense of humour; she loved to giggle and could often be found smiling and shaking her head at the silly antics of those around her.
Donna’s presence will be immensely missed by her husband Roger Corbeil, her son Cory Warken, her daughter-in-law Michelle and her granddaughter Cassidy and grandson Dylan, her best friend and sister Dianne Midgett, brother Gordon Hagen and her sister-in law Jackie, her brother Ken Hagen and sister-in-law Ann, and numerous nieces and nephews. Donna and Roger married on March 1, 1992, nearly 33 years ago. Donna’s family grew to include stepson and daughter-in-law Brad (Barb) Corbeil, and granddaughter Jenelle (Ryan) Vanstone and great grandchildren Noah and Oliver. Granddaughter Brittney Corbeil and great grandchildren Ava and Maverick, granddaughter Kaitlin (Brandon) Taylor and great grandchildren Boston and Harper. Stepson and daughter-in-law Brent (Anjeanette) Corbeil and grandson Ayden and granddaughter Landis. Step daughter-in-law and son-in-law Michelle (Kelly) Fredrickson and granddaughter Olivia and grandson Nolan.
Donna was predeceased by her parents Emery and Marjorie Hagen, siblings Keith, and Raymond, sister-in-law Linda, brother-in-law Butch, niece Christine, Tony Warken, and very dear friend Arthur Ott.
The family would like to thank the nurses on 3rd floor 3200 wing of City Hospital who attended to Donna’s care with grace and dignity. At Donna’s request, there will not be a funeral service. To honour her, we ask that you reflect on happy and humorous memories of time shared together to ease the pain of her passing and missing her.
