Dorothy Angela Goulet November 26, 1947 to February 23, 2025
Dot was predeceased by her mother and father Arthur and Veronique Goulet(Carriere), sisters Agnes and Brenda, brothers Jim and Art, step-mother Elizabeth Young, spouse Murray Smith, first husband Gary Blanchard, and special neice Ameera Campbell Cumming. She leaves behind her brothers and sisters: Josie Searson (George), Keith Goulet (Linda), Mildred (Lloyd), Arlene, Monica (Keith), Ordean(Fran) Robert (Shannon). Children: Brigitt, James Andre, grandsons: Izak and Avery and great granddaughter: Anastasia. Nephews: Tyson, Tyler, Laird, Jim, Alan, Josh, Cary, Robin, Vance, Sterling Neices: Lara, Laurel, Shannon, Veronica, Koonu, Danis, Sasha, Tara, Veronique, Karrina, Mary and numerous great nephews, great nieces and cousins.
Dot was born and raised in Cumberland House. During her life, she travelled across Canada. Worked in Toronto and visited relatives in Trinidad. She also travelled and lived in the United States with Murray Smith and her dog Bowwow. In February 2016, Dorothy returned to Saskatoon after a stroke. She recovered and lived a peaceful life in Saskatoon, shopping and reconnecting with her daughter, grandson and other family members. In her final years she was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, like four other members of her family.
She will be missed by and will be lovingly remembered by her family for her determination, courage, confidence, and joyful exuberance towards life.
