Elizabeth Bernice Kabatoff

February 28, 1944 — April 20, 2024

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Betty Kabatoff, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, on April 20, 2024, at the age of 80. Betty was born on February 28, 1944, to Alex and Mary (nee Shiskin). She grew up in Canora, SK, surrounded by a close-knit family.
Betty is survived by her son, Kenneth and his wife Charmaine, grandchildren Makayla and Michael; sister Doris Berikoff and brother, Ron Shiskin (Gloria). She is also survived by her cherished nieces and nephews; Kathy (Tom), Robert (Sharmayne), Rhonda (Ryan), Jana (Scott), Trevor, Nina (Reg) and Paula.
Betty was a woman of strength and grace, known for her kind heart and unwavering love for her family. She married the love of her life, Alfred, on August 16, 1963, and together they shared 51 years of cherished memories before Al's passing in September, 2014.
Betty was nurturing and supportive, always putting other's needs above her own. You never left her house without some creation she had either baked or cooked. Her home was a place of warmth and laughter, where friends and family gathered to create lifelong bonds.
Betty enjoyed many pastimes, including curling in her earlier years and spending time at the cabin, but she found her greatest joy in her garden. Every year Betty's yard came alive with vibrant color, as she spent countless hours nurturing her many flowers.
Betty was a proud grandmother to Makayla and Michael. They were her pride and joy and she cherished her time with them, watching them grow and sharing in their accomplishments. She was always up for a game or three of Yahtzee whenever they were around.
Betty will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Betty's life will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024 at 3pm at Cherished Memories, 591 Centennial Drive, Martensville, SK. Please join us for some light refreshments and share your memories of Betty.
Forever in our hearts, Betty's memory will be a beacon of love and light, guiding us through life's journey.
