Emily Marie Klane
Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.
Emily Marie Klane (nee Longul), of Saskatoon, SK, died peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon. She was born on September 26, 1947 and was one of six children. She was raised and attended school in Montmartre, SK.
Emily will be remembered for always providing support and love for her family. She married the love of her life, Arnold Klane, on August 1, 1970. She was the devoted mother of three children, and a beloved grandmother to four grandchildren. She had many passions in life volunteering much of her time in her children’s’ schools, and in her church community as a lector, choir member, and long serving CWL member.
Emily is survived by her husband, Arnold; her children, Jennifer (Sean) Harvey, Angela (Trent) Bank, and Ehren (Megan) Klane; her grandchildren, Jared, Colton, Tristan, and John; her sisters, Elizabeth and Nell, and her brother, Michael; as well as many extended family and friends. Emily was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Rose Longul, her sister Florence, and her brother Harry.
The family would like to thank the compassionate care team at St. Paul’s Hospital Palliative ward. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Emily’s memory to either St. Patrick Parish, Saskatoon, or to St. Paul’s Hospital Palliative Care Ward, Saskatoon.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30am on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at St. Patrick’s Parish (3339 Centennial Dr, Saskatoon) with Fr. David Tumback as celebrant. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cherished Memories Funeral Services.

Our deepest sympathy on the loss of your wife and mother. We enjoyed our visit after John’s baptism and are so happy that we had the opportunity to meet Emily. We are thinking of you and offering our prayers.
