Estelle was born in Duck Lake and grew up in Carlton. She always talked about how much she loved riding her horse Benny in the fields of Saskatchewan. Her love for baking started back in the days on the farm, when her parents went away for the day to go to the city they would have to hide all the sugar and flour or Estelle would use it all up baking. We laughed many times about this.Estelle lived for her Children Brenda Dirks, Rhonda Vogelgesang (Bernard), Ross Rowlett (Doris) and she adored her Grandchildren Amanda, Matthew, Dalton, Skylar, Sydney & Simon. She was also blessed with 2 Great Grandchildren Taylor, Jaden. Estelle is survived by siblings Lionel, Lytta, Lorraine, Ronnie & Donna and was predeceased by Jeanine, Paul & Lynn. Estelle was lucky to have had 4 loves in her lifetime, Jim, Denny, Doug & Earl, widowed 3 times. Her last love Earl was the love of her life, they shared so much laughter and danced away many Friday nights. Her heart was shattered when she lost Earl to cancer. When Estelle walked into the room you knew you were going to be having a great time, loads of laughs and your day would be brightened. She loved spending time with family & friends . Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us everyday, unseen, but always near, still loved, still missed and forever dear.We cannot thank Palliative Care at St. Paul’s Hospital and The Hospice At Glengarda enough for the outstanding care and compassion and making sure that our Mom’s last days were peaceful, comfortable and full of dignity. In lieu of flowers please donate to either of these outstanding facilities. At Estelle’s request there is no service.
