PLESSL, Frank Herman
April 21, 1964 – June 29, 2021
It is with broken hearts we sadly announce that our Dad, Frank has suddenly and unexpectedly passed away.
Frank was born in Wolseley, SK and died in Saskatoon, SK.
Frank spent his life working hard. He practiced his trade with skill and quality craftsmanship as he was incredibly
talented. The only thing Frank did harder than working was loving his children. They were his whole world! Everything
he did, he did for them.
You could always find Frank with a new project on the go. Be it building a new shed, dwelling, or some sort of new
shop. When he wasn’t building something you could find him making sausage and jerky in his meat shop.
Frank’s proudest accomplishment was building the most beautiful home at Emma Lake, SK for himself and his children to
spend endless weekends with their friends and family. Frank welcomed everyone into his home with arms open wide.
Frank gave and gave wholeheartedly and never asked or wanted anything in return. You will find numerous homes and
cabins that Frank constructed for people in Emma Lake and surrounding areas which are a testament to his talent and
craftsmanship.
When he wasn’t working and allowed himself to have some down time Frank loved to spend it out on the lake ice
fishing, snowmobiling, playing cards or kicking butt playing foosball. Frank quit drinking almost three years ago and he
was proud of himself for that.
Frank is predeceased by his parents, Anna and Josef Plessl, his nephews Mitchell and Tyler Plessl, his brother in law Jim
Thomas and his best friend Bernard Enns.
Frank is survived by his beloved children Amanda, Dalton, and Jessica. His son in law Jordan Davis and his precious
granddaughter Alexis Knight. Frank is also survived by his dear friend and mother of his children, Jane.
Frank is survived by his siblings Anita and Glen and family, Walter and Bev and family, Shirley and family, Gord and Lori
and family, Joanne and family, Chris and Lisa and family.
Many aunts, uncles, cousins and way too many friends to mention by name also survive Frank.
The family would like to thank the ICU staff at both Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert and St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon,
SK. They would also like to thank STARS Air Ambulance.
In lieu of flowers as tokens of remembrance, the family would appreciate donations made to the Victoria Hospital in
Prince Albert.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Cherished Memories Funeral Home in Martensville, SK.
A Celebration of Frank’s Life will take place at Cherished Memories Funeral Home, August 5th, 2021 at 1pm. The Celebration is open to anyone but if you cannot make it please join us via live steam if you wish at http://www.livememorialservices.com/Home/ServiceDetail/15208

Our deepest condolences. We loved your dad. The lake is already missing your dads spirit. My early morning coffee’s with him & evening visits. Working with your dad , Bernie and Grant left me with memories I’ll cherish forever. Your dad bragged about everyone of you. I know we’re on the same page when I say he’s gone to damn soon. Perhaps Bernie needed help building something in heaven ? Take care and please don’t hesitate to call ❤️ Darryl and Laurie Quessy

So sorry to hear of Frank’s passing. I remember Frank as such a fun-loving guy with a huge smile! Like all Plessels, he had a strong work ethic. I recall Frank’s warm and comical welcomes when I would visit you Jo, in your childhood home on Toronto Street. My thoughts, prayers, and hugs go out to you all xoxo

My condolences to your family. Although we never kept in touch much over the years, Frank has left me with fond memories of friendship and laughter and I feel blessed to have spent time with him and his sisters throughout our younger years. You are a wonderful family and peace to you all.
