Frederick "Tom" West

It is with great sadness that Mia West announces the passing of her beloved husband Tom West. Tom passed on Saturday October 28th, 2023 after a long journey struggling with cancer. They were together for 67 years after they met in Germany where Tom was stationed. He served for 24 years in the Canadian Airforce and went on to have a full-filling career at The University of Saskatchewan Light Source. 
Tom now joins his late daughter Mary in heaven. 

He is forever remembered by his children, Lonnie (Wayne) McWillie, Nancy (Len) Wiebe and John West. His grandchildren, Michelle Conn, Ashley Zelko, Chris Wiebe, Brett West, Dylan West, Chase Wiebe and great grandchild Hadley West. 
He is also remembered by his in-laws in Holland, Wielie (Henny) Saedt, Johny (Mareiken) Saedt and Charles (Thea) Saedt. 

The family would like to send a special thank you to all of the wonderful staff at Hospice at Glengarda Saskatoon. 
As per Tom’s wishes there will only be a private family celebration of his life. The family respectfully request that they be given privacy at this time as they honour Tom’s wishes.
