Garnett Ernest Wheeler, age 78 years, of Flin Flon, Manitoba passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, October 17, 2019 after a short but brave battle with cancer.

Special thanks to the medical care teams at St. Paul’s Hospital – Palliative Care, who showed him great compassion. Dad’s wishes are for a simple gathering of his family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jim Pattison Children’s HospitalFoundation, #1-345-3rd Ave. S., Saskatoon, SK S7K 1M6.
Our deepest sympathies and condolences to you and your family. I have a lot of great memories of Garnett when we lived in Ross Lake. This time of year brings back a lot of memories of us sitting on their living room floor listening to the world series, no television back then. He was a fantastic person with a great sense of humour.
So very sorry, hugs to you all.
Gene and Sharry
