Hilda Wendland

Hilda was born to parents Reinhold and Sarah Wendland in Waldheim, Saskatchewan, and she was the oldest of five children. Hilda left home at the age of 18 to go and work in Saskatoon. After working with the elderly in a private care home, she went on to working at RUH as an unregistered technician. After a number of years, she retired in 1999. During her retirement, she enjoyed reading her Bible and other material and books, gardening, walking her dog, and spending time with family and friends. 

Hilda was predeceased by her Grandparents, Parents, a Sister, numerous Uncles and Aunts, and Cousins. She leaves to celebrate her memory: daughter Terri, granddaughter Savannah, sister Lillian, brothers Richard and Elvin, Aunt Helen, Aunt Goldie, Uncle Abe (Now deceased), one nephew, three nieces, and friends. 

I would like to thank the ER staff at RUH for the wonderful care they gave to Hilda in her short battle with cancer at the age of 80 years.
