Jacob "Jack" Wayne Collison

October 19, 1964 — March 7, 2025

Jack Collison passed away suddenly on March 7, 2025. Jack was born in Outlook, Sask., in 1964 to Cliff and Linda Collison. As he grew so did his love of books, reading, and hunting, thanks to a love of both from his parents. When his brother Clint was born he had a perfect partner in youthful shenanigans that carried through their adulthood.

In 1990, Jack married Kelly - they were married for 27 years (divorced in 2017) and had two wonderful and handsome sons who were quickly the apples of Jack's eye. Jack loved his boys and was so proud of them, instilling his love of books, the outdoors and more. The boys, in turn loved to sit and talk about all kinds of subjects with their dad, their big teddy bear, and they always enjoyed their daily calls, filled with laughter and love.

Jack worked for Remington Tire until they closed, and then worked as a dispatcher for Ridsdale Transport. Due to his health, he “retired” after this, spending more time with his boys, spinning yarns and continuing their deep conversations regarding various topics, sometimes continuing for hours. Jack is survived by his sons, Joshua and Adam, his father, Cliff, brother Clint (Laurene), his nieces Jenelle (Mike) and Taylor (Dusty). He was predeceased by has mother, Linda (2024). There will be a memorial service at a later date. Thank you to Wakaw Ambulance, Vonda Fire and Rescue, the RCMP, and Cherished Memories for their help, guidance and compassion at this difficult time. Jack will always be remembered as the big teddy bear he was, and is tremendously missed.
