Jason Blake Sutherland

Jason Blake Sutherland, 52, died peacefully at Royal University Hospital on October 21, 2024, after a battle with illness and an unexpected series of strokes. Born in New Westminster, BC, Jason grew up in Saskatchewan, where he developed a passion for hockey. A skilled welder, he spent most of his working life in Vancouver before returning to the prairies. Jason enjoyed hockey, watching sports, and playing billiards with his friends. He is survived by his mother and father, Ruth and Bob Sutherland, along with his brother John (Jennifer) Sutherland, of Saskatoon, SK. His family extends heartfelt thanks to staff at St. Paul’s Hospital and Royal University Hospital for their compassionate care.
