Josephine Lorraine Gervais

Josephine Lorraine Gervais (nee Richards) was born on September 21, 1927 to Isabella & Leonard Richards at Lacadena, SK.  Josephine attended Deer Centre Public School and Renfew High School in BC. She returned from BC and graduated from Porcupine Plains Sk.  Josephine started working for St.Theresa Hospital in Tisdale as a CNA in 1949 where she continued until 1953 when a move took her career to BC for a few years and she returned in 1959.  Working again at St. Theresa Hospital until 1966 where she then moved to Saskatoon and worked at St.Paul's Hospital until her retirement in 1992.

Josephine married Lawrence Gervais on July 16, 1949. They have two children, Brenda Lee (Morris) Bowkowy and James Dwight.  She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence of 33 years, her son Dwight and Grandson Scott.  She will be remembered by her Grandson ,Taner and Great Grandson, Brock.
