Most of all, Mom enjoyed family and fun. She would show anyone who expressed the least bit interest photos of “her” clan. Mom’s sense of adventure and humour were evident in all her relationships. Her love extended to furry friends; she was a professional dog whisperer.
Our parents love story started at the Palladium (pally) with a dance, followed by a very nearly missed first date, good thing dad was a fast runner. In 1967 when the youngest of us was five the adventure to Canada began. What started out as a five-year trip to Canada turned into a lifetime and 2 more generations of Scappy blood. Family being the most important aspect of her life she spent a considerable amount of time at home in Scotland.
Arm held out, Mom has been whisked back on to the dance floor by her lifelong partner and soul mate, once more dancing cheek to cheek.
In lieu of flowers the family request a charitable donation to a charity of your choice.
A memorial will be held Spring/Summer 2025 for close friends and family TBA.
