June Quittenbaum

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of June, after a long battle with cancer. June was born in Harris, Sk. She went to school in Harris and Rosetown, and in 1955 married Glenn Quittenbaum. Together they had a wonderful family of five children. Rob (Linda), Glenna, Penny (Boyd), Rick (Marg) and Perry (Vicki). June was predeceased by her husband Glenn and grandson Robbie. June loved to work ona variety of crafts while sitting in her favourite chair. She enjoyed watching curling and in her later years did fundraising for S.T.A.R.S ambulance. June will be missed by her 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. A family celebration of life will be held in the spring to lay to rest Glenn & June together. Our family would love to thank all the staff at Northern Lights care home and especially Hospice at Glengarda for making mom comfortable in her last days.
