Kenneth Thomas Wendel Maffenbeier

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth Thomas Wendal Maffenbeier, on December 25th, 2024, at the age of 64. He was born on the 13th of November 1960 in Regina to Wendal and Rose Maffenbeier. 

Kenneth, known as Ken by most, was a very happy-go-lucky individual, ready to crack jokes and make people smile. He had a big heart, sharing it with his family and the community. When he wasn’t at home living life with his tortoise companion Oogway, he could be found camping and fishing with his family and grandson. His generosity knew no bounds, readily lending a helping hand as a brother, uncle and friend.

Ken is survived by siblings, Donna, Heather (Jim), Darrell (Mardi-Jane), stepchildren, Jesse (Tim), Nicole and numerous nephews and nieces as well as his grandson Kyran. Ken was predeceased by his mother, father, sister Linda and his niece Jillian.

Ken will be missed by the École Victoria school community where he worked as the school’s custodian. He loved working within the school community, and we know they loved him! 

A celebration of Ken’s life will happen this spring. Bring your fishing rod!
