Kylee Lynn McCallum

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kylee McCallum, who left us to join the heavens, surrounded by love and cherished memories. Kylee’s spirit will forever be embraced by her life partner, Justin Desjarlais, and their beloved children, Justin and Kinessa McCallum.

Kylee was a pillar of strength and love within her family, survived by her devoted parents, Clement and Eva McCallum. She also leaves behind her in-laws, Leon and Angie Desjarlais, along with her cherished siblings: Albert, William (Francine), Wanda (Norbert), Leola (Doug), Neil (Mandy), and Donny Morrow. Several sisters-in-law, including Tina (Family) Laliberte, Cara (Ernie) Morin, and Amanda Desjarlais, along with her favorite brothers-in-law, Scotty (Tanya) Desjarlais and Leon (Toots) Desjarlais, will forever hold her memory dear.

Kylee's family extended beyond blood; she was a beloved figure to numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, all of whom were touched by her warmth and kindness. Her special connection with her Pine River Boy, Halo (Wyatt Laliberte), brought her immeasurable joy.

Kylee is predeceased by her brother, Paul J. Daigneault, and her grandparents, Albert and Marie Louise Daigneault and Jules McCallum, who will welcome her with open arms.

As we gather to honor her life, we invite all who knew and loved Kylee to join us for a Wake Service at Pine River Family Homelands on September 4-5, 2024, as well as at her parents' home in Ile à la Crosse on September 6, 2024. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 2:00 PM at St. John The Baptist Church in Ile à la Crosse, where we will celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories.

Kylee will forever be missed, but her legacy of love will continue to shine brightly in the lives of all she touched.
