Lawrence Alphonse McIntyre

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of a husband, father, grandfather, friend. He is by his loving wife Celina, and a cherished legacy left through his children: Jeff (Jenn), Sheena, Nevin (Jamie), Ethan, and Jon (Doree). His family blossoms with the laughter and joy of his grandchildren: Kenzie, Isaiah, Brynn, Bree, Layke, Joseph, Kobe, Shenita, Mathias, Lincoln, Nevin Jr., and Adelaide.

He leaves behind a close-knit family of siblings: Elizabeth, Monique, Margaret, Leonard, Frankie (Serena), Terri (Tom), Gina (Rob), David (Roberta), Larry, and Eva. Additionally, he was embraced by his in-laws: Henry (Delores), Richard (Adrienne), Louise (Indian), Hazel (Brown), Margaret (Paul), Shirley (Mark), and Debbie (Richard).

His extended family also includes numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, co-workers, mentors, and those whom he mentored throughout his life. He was a beloved coach to many, instilling valuable lessons and lifelong memories.

He was predeceased by his parents, Francois McIntyre and Beatrice McIntyre, as well as his in-laws: Adelaide Maurice, Mathias Maurice, Linda "Willow" Maurice, Philip Maurice, Mike Wolverine, and Rene McIntyre. He also mourns the loss of his brother, Max, and sisters, Gloria and Veronica. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Norbert McIntyre, Madeline McIntyre, Judith Maurice, and Max Maurice. His godparents, Frank Maurice and Francis Aubichon, will always hold a special place in his heart.

The wake service was held from September 1 to September 4, 2024, in Patuanak, Saskatchewan. 

The funeral service will take place at St. Louis Catholic Church in Patuanak,SK,  on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.

As we come together to celebrate his life, we remember the warmth of his spirit, the love he radiated, and the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved him. 

He was an amazing Chief, coach, mentor, and friend.
