In Loving Memory of Margaret Ann Hodgson May 25, 1943 – April 11, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Ann Hodgson on April 11, 2025, at the age of 81. Margaret is lovingly remembered by her life long partner, Stan (Yaya) Hagberg.

Margaret leaves behind her children: Betty Janisch, Roberta Hodgson, Marcella Hodgson, Cindy Hodgson, George Hodgson, Tamara Quirring, and her grandson Nathan Hodgson, whom she lovingly raised as her own.

She is survived by her sister-in-law Elizabeth Gardiner (Kokum Bush), along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews — all of whom brought her great joy and pride.

Margaret was predeceased by her parents, George and Adelaide Gardiner, her sisters Auxiliary Roy (John) and Annette Gardiner, and her brothers Isadore Gardiner, Harry Gardiner (Catherine), Johnny Gardiner, Albert Gardiner (Irene), and Jeffery Gardiner (Beatrice).

She will be dearly missed by her cherished friends: Yvonne Lariviere, Rose Chaika, and Jean Vidal, with whom she shared many years of laughter, love, and support.

Margaret’s legacy is one of strength, love, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
