Marion Bernice Parr  May 14, 1925 – August 3, 2021

Marion passed away peacefully in her beloved hometown of Saskatoon with members of her family at her side.  She attended Victoria School, Nutana, and Nurses Training at City Hospital. She thrived as a phlebotomist at RUH for much of her career. She held positions of leadership
at Grosvenor Park United Church,
was on the City Hospital board, and served as President of Nurses Alumni. She married Bruce Green in 1952. They had 4 children: Bruce, Colin, Beverly, and Cynthia.  Marion loved music.  She found much joy in her children’s musical endeavors.   She was choir director at Grosvenor Park for years.  She still sang in a choir up until only a few years ago.

Marion was predeceased by her parents; Harold and Mina Parr,  her  brothers; Stewart, Gordon, and Elburn, and her husband of 27 years, Bruce Green.

Marion leaves behind her loving family including her children: Bruce(Paige)Green, Colin (Colleen)Green, Beverly (David)Toth, and Cynthia (Ferencs)Kovacs, 14 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.   With grateful hearts, we will never forget her devotion to her family.

A service to honor her was held last weekend.  Arrangements were entrusted to Cherished Memories Funeral Home.
