Marjorie Mcmahon

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Marjorie Amelia McMahon nee Samoleski announce her passing on August 18, 2021 at the Glengarda Hospice in Saskatoon surrounded by her loving family after a battle with lung cancer.

I was born Nov 2, 1936 in the village of Attica, Sk. And raised on a farm with my 10 siblings. Life was very busy andhappy on the farm but I always wished to live in the city. I came to Saskatoon in 1954 and made a career at Sask Tel as an Operator. I soon met the love of my life, Dennis McMahon and together we raised a family of 5 daughters and 1son. I was predeceased by my husband Dennis, my mother Josephine and father William Samoleski. Also 3 brothersand 4 sisters. I am survived by 3 sisters Anne Wille, Albina Wisser and Rose Boyle (Arthur).

I’ve been a volunteer in the spiritual realm over the years. I had an interesting hobby of art for many years which was achallenge and a joy to me. I am survived by the Loves of my life: Alison Deck (Marvin), Karen Carter (Michael), Janine Tosh (Terry), Josie Hodgkinson (Brian), Terese Kormish (Rob) and John McMahon. I am also survived by 22 grandchildren and 24 great- grandchildren as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

THANK YOU TO MY WONDERFUL FAMILY FOR ALWAYS BEING THERE FOR ME (I LOVE YOU)

Also great thanks to my friends that supported me throughout my life.

The family of Marge McMahon would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the Doctors, Nurses, Care Aids, Staff andvolunteers of the Glengarda Hospice for their exceptional love and care of our beloved mother in her end of life journey.
