It is with great sadness that parents Tom and Mia West announce the sudden passing of their beloved daughter Mary-Ann West. Mary passed at 9:22am on March.9, 2020 after a brief fight with cancer at the young age of 60. Mary was always full of life, full of love and fiercely independent. To her family she was more than just a mother, daughter, sister, grandma and aunt. To her children she was supportive and nurturing. To them she was their buddy, their role model and their world. To her sisters she was a best friend, sounding board and their biggest fan. She was the fun loving aunt and the caring grandma that spoiled her grand babies. She will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
She is forever remembered by her children, Michelle Conn, Ashley(Jason) Zelko and Brett(Jess) West. Her Siblings, Lonnie(Wayne) McWillie, Nancy(Len) Wiebe and John West. Her Nephews, Chris Wiebe, Dylan West and Chase Wiebe. Her step children, Robyn(Ian) Jendruck, Samantha(Shane) Bridges and Paige(Huston) Anderson. Her grandchildren, Anson Gagne, Ryden Gagne, Savannah Bridges, Hunter Anderson, Zaylie Jendruck, Hendrix Anderson and Hadley West.
She is also remembered by her aunts and uncles from Holland; Wielie(Henny) Saedt, Johny(Mareiken) Saedt and Charl(Thea) Saedt.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Nathan Degenhart for all of his help and compassion throughout our moms care, as well as all the wonderful nursing staff from St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon.
As per Mary-Ann’s wishes there will only be a private family celebration of her life. The family respectfully requests that they be given privacy at this time as they honor their mother’s wishes.
In lieu of flowers, please make your donations to the charity of your choosing.
