Michael “Mike” Garry Skolney born and raised in the Wishart area passed away on March 25, 2019. A beloved father, gido, partner, brother and son. His role as gido was one he did not take lightly which showed how excited he was every moment he shared with his grand boys. It took courage and confidence to be such an expressive, honest man such as Mike. His firm handshakes and comforting hugs made him a love-able man to be around. His laughter will be unforgettable and the memories irreplaceable. His love of farming will live on at his home quarter in the Wishart area. Please join us on June 16, 2019 from 11-2 at the Wishart hall to celebrate the life of Mike.

Our deepest sympathies go out to Mike’s family. We are saddened by your loss and our prayers are with you all.
Sincerely ,
Ken, Shirley and family
That was beautifully written. He was always smiling. I remember his jokes when we had sleep overs as kids. It’s pretty special he moved out closer to his family❤️ Gone too soon but always in your hearts to remember when ever you need to.
Sincere condolences to the entire family. I have many good memories of time spent with the Skolney family when we were neighbours on the farm.
With deepest sympathy, Gail Slawinski (nee Paternak)
