Nicole Lacoursiere

April 10, 1980 — December 24, 2024

It is with deep sadness that the family of Nicole Lacoursiere announce her passing on December 24, 2024.

Nicole lived a life full of love and accomplishments. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mom, auntie, relative and friend, and she was a person who went over and above to make things great for everyone. Whether it was in her family, teaching, hockey, or the dance environment, her awesome personality shone through and impacted many lives. Her big heart drew in many friends and relatives, but we will not forget her strong take-charge personality and drive. When she wanted to get things done, it simply happened.

Nicole was a gentle but fierce leader as a teacher and school administrator for 22 years; leading, teaching, coaching, and having fun. She was also incredibly active in her kid’s Ukrainian dance world as she was often ‘the mom’ in the club, organizing costumes backstage and sitting on many committees.

Nicole loved Wakaw Lake, it truly was her happy place, her home away from home. Yearly family ski trips to Fernie were also very special to her and will continue to happen. She was a warrior and a champ. Unfortunately, she was unable to win her battle against cancer, though she fought valiantly for almost 2 years.

Nicole leaves to celebrate her memory, Todd Lacoursiere (husband of 20 years), Raelyn (daughter) and Matt (son). Also, Rose and Armand Normand (parents), brother-Dean (Lesia, Eastin, Austin, Zane), brother-Marc (Rachelle, Brayden, Jordan, Logan). Also celebrating Nicole are her numerous relatives and predeceased loved ones.

Nicole's Celebration of Life program starts at 2pm on Saturday, February 1, 2025 in the Warman High School Gymnasium (Doors open at 1pm). reception to follow at the Brian King Centre in Warman.

Cherished Memories in Martensville is honored to be entrusted with the care of Nicole Lacoursiere.
