Victor Dennis William Sizer was born on April 1, 1956, in Wilkie, Saskatchewan to Dennis and May Sizer. He was a very kindhearted and loving person. He was also artistic. He wrote song lyrics and received a certificate for this work. He helped on the farm, caring for animals, canning various fruits, and bailing. He learned the techniques of trapping from his father and spent many hours during the winter months on the trap line. Victor had a passion for fishing and making fishing lures. One of his favorite places to fish and spend the summer months was at Sucker Lake, in northern Saskatchewan, where he leased a section of land, and built a cabin and boathouse with his father and siblings.
Victor passed away in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on July 24, 2024. He is predeceased by his brother, George Sizer, and his parents, Dennis and May Sizer. Victor is survived and will be greatly missed by his siblings, Alfred Sizer, Bob (Gladys) Sizer, Maryann (Arthur) Jones and Elizabeth (Dennis) Kulyk, as well as many nieces and nephews.
An interment will take place on August 15, 2024 at 2:00pm, at the Landis Community Complex.
